Exciting! That would be the most appropriate word to describe the atmosphere at this months’ Temp of the Month Award. When her manager Jay Patel nominated Yasmin Chung for the award, he gave not one, but 7 amazing reasons as to why he felt that her hard work and dedication deserved to be recognised.

The team here at London Works are very pleased with Yasmin’s progress and so we could just not resist these 7 attributes that had impressed Yasmin’s manager so much during the four months that she has been working at the City of London. It is her strong work ethics that has catapulted her to the front of the queue and impelled us into rewarding her. For this reason, London Works’ Temp of the Month for July is Yasmin Chung who is a Visits Coordinator at The Lords’ Mayor Office, City of London.

What struck me the most upon visiting Yasmin’s office to present her award was the feeling of unity, teamwork, and harmony that embeds her place of work. Yasmin had no idea she was nominated temp of the month and to her surprise – and absolute delight, her teammates really celebrated with her and showed their appreciation by clapping and cheering as she entered the room, they commended her on the way that she had slotted right into the team, commenting that those that worked at the Lords Mayor’s Office are a quirky bunch and they love the way that she came in, accepted their quirkiness and became an integrated part of the team. Yasmin has brought a real sense of energy and enthusiasm to the office.

Yasmin says, “Working in the City of London is a completely new experience for me and I am enjoying the uniqueness of working in a private office and the opportunity to grow and thrive in a cultured environment. London Works has been a great support and has helped me constantly with any issues I have faced.”
