This month, London Works’ ‘Temp of the Month’ award goes to Kerry McKenna, newly appointed Client Services Manager at international law firm CMS.

Kerry was London Works’ first temporary placement at CMS, starting her role in late August to cover the regular Client Services Manager who has many years’ experience at the company. Her manager Danny Postill has been delighted with her performance, telling London Works that Kerry “settled in extremely quickly and now effectively leads a team of nine in a highly prestigious environment at our new building, Cannon Place”. The whole team are thrilled to have her on board, as her approach and attitude have enabled her to fit in with ease and continue to ensure excellent service is provided to all clients, guests and staff.

Kerry was overjoyed to have received this award from London Works and CMS, and grateful to Danny and the team for the support they have given her in her first month at the company. She told us that CMS has been a really exciting place to work, “as each day is something different and it’s a non-stop hub of activity, with something different happening around each corner!”

This placement has been a real success for Kerry, allowing her to cross the bridge from hospitality to the professional world. She thanked London Works for helping her achieve this goal, telling us that “it’s all down to London Works that made me realise that with hard work and energy you can do anything!”

CMS has been a great partner and supporter of London Works for over a year, and we are glad that their first temporary placement with us has been such a success. Kerry has taken on the role with such gusto and aplomb that CMS have since offered her a permanent contract, and she looks forward to continuing to provide her welcoming and professional service for the company.
